Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a senior regional marketing leader who will shape and drive an integrated marketing strategy aligned to business priorities across the region. The position is focused on turning commercial goals into actionable plans that generate measurable impact on pipeline, revenue, partner engagement and customer outcomes.
As part of the Regional Business Leadership Team, the person in this role serves as the main marketing advisor to the Regional VP and other regional leaders. They will help steer annual and quarterly planning, make sure marketing priorities are agreed early, and keep stakeholders informed on planned activity, expected results, resource needs, risks and performance.
The role also owns the regional marketing operating cadence, ensuring coordination between regional and country plans, vendor and partner priorities, and the wider global marketing strategy. It requires balancing local market needs with global programmes and shared services while maintaining accountability for execution quality, commercial contribution and return on investment.
Qualifications and experience
- More than 10 years of leadership experience in B2B marketing within IT, cybersecurity, technology distribution, or vendor/channel/partner-led environments.
- Background working as a strategic partner to a Regional VP, General Manager, CRO, or regional sales leadership.
- Strong ability to convert commercial strategy and revenue targets into regional marketing plans that are practical and measurable.
- Excellent executive-level communication skills, including the ability to explain marketing plans, spend, risks and results in clear business terms.
- Experience setting up planning, governance and reporting processes across a multi-country matrix structure.
- Proven strength in stakeholder management, identifying risks early and balancing competing priorities effectively.
- Solid understanding of B2B technology, cybersecurity, distribution, channel and vendor-funded marketing approaches.
- Clear ownership of marketing-sourced or marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Ability to align sales, marketing, vendor and partner teams around common commercial objectives.
- Capability across demand generation, field marketing, partner marketing, digital and content marketing, events, brand activation and marketing operations.
- Analytical, data-led approach with experience in budget planning, ROI measurement, performance analysis and MDF governance.
- Experience managing and developing teams across multiple countries in a complex international matrix organisation.
- Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levels depending on business needs.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are beneficial.
