Job description
Position Overview
We seek a commercially focused and seasoned professional to spearhead business expansion, student recruitment, and strategic alliances throughout the Middle East. Based in Singapore, this role will be instrumental in penetrating new markets, driving revenue growth, and securing sustainable partnerships with key regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive market development and student recruitment plans aimed at meeting enrolment and revenue objectives.
- Identify avenues for broadening the organization's footprint and fostering long-term growth in the Middle East region.
- Establish and oversee alliances with educational institutions, recruitment agencies, corporate entities, and vital partners.
- Coordinate and lead initiatives including exhibitions, seminars, networking sessions, and outreach programs to enhance business development and recruitment.
- Engage with prospective students, their families, and allies to boost student enrollment and market visibility.
- Monitor market dynamics, analyze competitor actions, and review operational performance to pinpoint new business opportunities.
- Manage budget allocations, forecasting, and business outcomes while facilitating the rollout of new programs.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for students and partners alike.
- Undertake frequent travel across the Middle East for market expansion activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Minimum five years of experience in regional business or market development, partnership management, international sales, or student recruitment.
- Proven expertise in cultivating or growing the Middle East market with a history of meeting or exceeding commercial objectives.
- Proficiency in English and basic conversational skills in Arabic to effectively interact with regional stakeholders.
- Successful track record in forging strategic partnerships and nurturing stakeholder relationships across diverse cultures and markets.
- Previous exposure to higher education, international education, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
- Self-driven, commercially oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced international environment.
- Role requires Singapore residency with frequent travel within the Middle East region.
