Regional Key Account Manager – Commercial & Industrial Rooftop Solar

About the Role

We are looking to hire a proactive and results-driven Regional Key Account Manager specializing in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop solar segment. This position involves spearheading business expansion by forging and nurturing key client relationships, discovering new business prospects, managing the entire sales process, and ensuring successful project completions across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies for rooftop solar solutions that align with company goals.
• Identify, assess, and chase new opportunities within commercial and industrial customer segments.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue targets and order bookings.
• Establish strong partnerships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders to enhance customer engagement and retention.
• Manage the sales lifecycle from lead generation through site assessments, proposal creation, techno-commercial negotiations, to deal closure.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project execution, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Recruit, train, and support sales personnel and channel partners to boost sales team performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, regulatory guidelines, and contracts.

Candidate Profile

• Must possess a minimum educational qualification of B.E. or B.Tech, with preference given to MBA graduates.
• Have between 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the Solar Rooftop C&I sector.
• Demonstrated success in handling and closing high-value commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects.
• Previous exposure to solar EPC companies or rooftop solar industries will be advantageous.
