The role is centered on partnering with leaders, using workforce insights, and improving the overall employee and customer experience in a fast-moving retail environment.
The company values teamwork, passion, curiosity, diversity, sustainability, creativity, and humility, and is looking for someone who connects with that culture.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside regional and retail leaders to design and implement people plans that align with business objectives, operational needs, and future growth.
- Advise General Managers on organizational structure, talent planning, succession readiness, and overall team performance.
- Use workforce data and business trends to uncover opportunities, recommend improvements, and support better outcomes through people initiatives such as productivity, labor use, turnover, absenteeism, and related metrics.
- Coach retail leaders to build stronger management skills, raise engagement, improve performance, and create effective teams.
- Coordinate with business leaders and talent acquisition teams to identify hiring needs, improve onboarding, support retention, and strengthen workforce capability across the region.
- Lead performance management efforts that promote accountability, ongoing development, and alignment between employee goals and business priorities.
- Support leaders during expansion, change, and transformation by translating business needs into practical people strategies.
- Help build an inclusive, engaged, and accountable workplace by improving team effectiveness, employee experience, workplace culture, and alignment with company values.
- Ensure HR practices are consistent with company standards, business priorities, and relevant employment requirements while balancing risk and business success.
- Partner on workforce planning, staffing models, and labor allocation to improve scheduling, productivity, and talent investment while keeping both employee experience and business performance in view.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of progressive HR experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
- Background working with senior leaders in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting, ideally in retail or another consumer-facing industry.
- Proven ability to drive change, develop talent, and improve business performance through people-focused strategies.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze people metrics, workforce patterns, and business data to guide decisions.
- Experience creating and delivering leadership development, coaching, and organizational effectiveness programs.
- Capability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and earn trust across teams.
- Strong advisory and coaching skills, with the ability to both challenge and support leaders.
- Comfort balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution and operational discipline.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
