Job description

Role overview

Sodexo Live! UK&I is hiring a commercially focused Regional HR Business Partner to support a wide-ranging portfolio of venues and events across Scotland and the wider UK. The role sits within a fast-moving operational setting where people strategy has a direct impact on guest and fan experience.

This opportunity suits an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with business leaders, shaping workforce plans, and influencing outcomes in multi-site, customer-facing environments.

Location and working pattern

The base location is Scotland, with travel required throughout the UK. The role follows a 40-hour schedule, worked over 5 days across 7. A driving licence is required.

Pay and benefits

The package includes a highly competitive salary, £1,300 in Flexible Benefit funds, a 15% performance bonus, and a car allowance.

Key responsibilities

You will support senior stakeholders with people plans that align to business growth and operational delivery. The role involves managing workforce planning, advising on employee relations and change, and helping to strengthen performance across the region.

Core areas also include recruitment and retention for permanent and casual teams, talent and succession planning, engagement and wellbeing activity, and the use of HR data to improve productivity and control labour costs.

You will also support business development, venue mobilisations, contract transitions, and manager coaching, while working closely with HR specialist teams to ensure a consistent people experience.

Requirements

Applicants should bring CIPD qualification, degree-level education, or equivalent HR experience, along with significant experience in an HR business partner or senior HR generalist role.

Experience with large casual, seasonal, or contingent workforces is important, as is strong knowledge of employee relations, reward, organisational development, talent, succession, and change management.

The role also calls for experience in complex multi-site operations, strong stakeholder and influencing skills, commercial awareness, confidence in matrix structures, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience from hospitality, events, leisure, sports, retail, or other customer-facing operational settings is desirable, along with exposure to live events.

Additional information

Sodexo Live! focuses on creating memorable experiences at sporting venues, racecourses, cultural destinations, and major live events. The organisation is seeking someone who can help shape a high-performing people agenda across its diverse operations.

Who this role suits

This position is best suited to an experienced HR leader who is comfortable working with senior leaders, guiding managers, and delivering people solutions in a commercial, high-volume environment.
