Role summary
This position is centered on leading teams and driving credit card business growth across assigned regions. The manager is expected to bring strong leadership, planning capability, and operational discipline to improve acquisition numbers, cross-sell performance, and hygiene outcomes. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and channel stakeholders to execute practical action plans and lift overall sales productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute regional plans that help achieve monthly prime credit card acquisition goals in the range of 750 to 1000.
- Build business strategies to strengthen the brand’s footprint across mapped clusters and geographies.
- Track performance patterns closely and adjust regional actions so they stay aligned with wider business objectives.
- Spot expansion opportunities in assigned locations and recommend corrective measures whenever performance gaps appear.
- Make sure all activities remain aligned with regulatory, audit, risk, and compliance expectations.
- Hold regular review discussions with teams and channel partners to monitor progress and course-correct where needed.
- Keep the team informed about competitive moves and competitor strategy.
- Work with channel heads to ensure business plans are executed on schedule.
- Support sales campaigns across branch, YCOP, and Retail Asset channels.
- Visit branches regularly to review performance, identify issues, and improve credit card outcomes.
- Monitor digital journey efficiency and help implement technology-enabled processes effectively.
- Create digital engagement opportunities and cross-sell propositions for customers.
- Manage customer complaints quickly and maintain strong service quality and NPS performance.
- Support DST training, reduce first-time-not-right errors, and manage curable errors efficiently.
- Keep hygiene, operational policy, and quality control standards consistently on track.
- Reduce operational, regulatory, financial, informational, and reputational risk through careful oversight of sales practices and documentation.
- Set performance goals with the reporting manager and team, then review progress throughout the year.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 to 8 Sales Managers working across multiple clusters.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and coordination to improve sales execution and business results.
- Contribute to team capability building by strengthening relevant competencies and behaviors.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant experience of 10 to 12 years is required.
- Experience of 10 to 15 years is preferred.
- Strong capability in leadership, team development, strategic planning, and influencing stakeholders is needed.
- The candidate should be comfortable handling compliance, risk controls, sales operations, and service quality.
