Job description

Role overview

Tesla is hiring a seasoned and forward-looking Regional Campaign Lead to support its North America Sales and Delivery organization with the Field Sales team. This position plays a major role in shaping regional outbound programs and campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and improve market penetration. The work spans scaling event-driven initiatives, self-serve growth, and media opportunities.

In this role, you will help expand several high-impact top-of-funnel programs across a region. You will be expected to build strategy, coordinate execution, align multiple teams, and use performance data and KPIs to improve outcomes. Close partnership with internal stakeholders will be essential from planning through delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of regional strategy, planning, coordination, and delivery for high-value events, media initiatives, and self-serve growth efforts, while keeping leadership goals and stakeholder expectations aligned.
  • Use sound independent judgment to handle planning or execution issues during events, choosing solutions that best support Tesla’s interests.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, business partners, local media, and cross-functional teams to improve event operations, access to resources, community connection, and regional growth.
  • Negotiate with external stakeholders and present opportunities to leadership that help advance Tesla’s mission and business goals.
  • Track event KPIs, review results after each event, and apply insights from data to improve processes and replicate successful regional approaches.
  • Act as a regional driver for top-of-funnel initiatives, offering strategic recommendations and business insights to leadership to influence regional growth.
  • Manage regional budgets and make careful resource allocation decisions to support growth targets efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or an equivalent background, plus 4 or more years of experience in demand generation or strategic program management.
  • Strong background in planning, launching, and improving demand generation programs, with experience advising senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate vendor partnerships and contracts with limited supervision, along with solid budget management skills for scalable top-of-funnel programs. About 75% of the role focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and budget optimization.
  • Ability to manage several priorities at once, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving and uncertain environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with both internal and external stakeholders; interest in Tesla’s mission and understanding of the customer journey and sales cycle are strongly preferred.
  • Advanced analytical ability to assess opportunities using data, market trends, and measurement tools to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Valid driver’s license, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Benefits

Full-time Tesla employees are eligible for a wide range of benefits starting on day one of employment.

  • Medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction.
  • Family-building, fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support.
  • Dental coverage, including orthodontia, and vision plans with $0 paycheck contribution options.
  • Company-funded HSA contribution when enrolled in the high-deductible medical plan with HSA.
  • Healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts.
  • 401(k) with employer match, employee stock purchase plans, and additional financial benefits.
  • Company-paid basic life and AD&D coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance with a 90-day waiting period.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
