Job description
Role overview
Tesla is hiring a seasoned, strategic Regional Campaign Lead to support the North America Sales and Delivery Organization and partner with the Field Sales team in Houston, TX. This position is focused on building, running, and improving regional outbound programs that strengthen brand visibility and deepen market reach. The work spans high-impact top-of-funnel initiatives such as events, self-serve expansion, and media opportunities.
In this role, you will help scale multiple programs that influence regional growth. You will be responsible for connecting teams, steering complex workstreams, and shaping strategies that expand market share. A strong grasp of performance measurement and KPI review will be central to success, along with close collaboration with internal stakeholders from planning through execution.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of regional initiatives, including planning, coordination, and delivery of events, media activations, and self-serve growth efforts, while keeping leadership priorities and business goals aligned.
- Use sound independent judgment to address operational and logistical issues that arise during event preparation or delivery, always choosing solutions that support Tesla’s best interests.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with partners, suppliers, local media, and cross-functional teams to improve event execution, resource support, community connection, and regional growth.
- Negotiate with outside partners and present opportunities to leadership that can meaningfully advance Tesla’s mission.
- Track event performance, review outcomes after each initiative, and turn data-backed insights into process improvements and scalable regional strategies.
- Act as a regional champion for top-of-funnel programs by offering strategic ideas and performance insights that help guide leadership decisions and regional expansion.
- Oversee regional budgets and allocate resources efficiently to support growth targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or an equivalent background, plus at least 4 years of experience in demand generation or strategic program management.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize demand generation programs, including experience advising senior leaders.
- Experience handling vendor negotiations and contracts with little supervision, along with strong budget management skills for scalable top-of-funnel programs.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, uncertain environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities for work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability to assess opportunities using data, trends, and tools that measure program effectiveness.
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel up to 50%, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation and benefits
This is a full-time role with competitive pay. Tesla offers day-one benefits for eligible full-time employees, including medical plans with $0 payroll deduction options, fertility and family-building support, dental and vision plans with $0 paycheck contribution options, HSA company contributions for high-deductible medical coverage, FSA options, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plans, company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, employee assistance resources, sick and vacation time, paid holidays, back-up childcare support, voluntary insurance options, weight loss and tobacco cessation programs, Tesla Babies support, commuter benefits, and employee discounts and perks.
Additional details
Approximately 75% of the role centers on strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and budget optimization. The remaining work involves execution and support of regional campaign initiatives.
