Role Summary
The Referral Coordinator facilitates the coordination of specialty care referrals requested by primary care physicians, both within and outside the organization. Key responsibilities include managing scheduling, tracking referrals, overseeing referral case management, and generating related reports. This role requires professionalism and the embodiment of Grady’s core values, exercising discretion, diplomacy, and tact during all patient and colleague interactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years experience in healthcare-related roles is required.
- Associate degree holders are preferred.
