Role Overview
The Talent Statistician supports live sports broadcasts by delivering crucial statistics and game insights to announcers and graphics producers. This remote position demands a proactive individual with strong research skills for preparing significant storylines, game rules, history, and potential records, while excelling in a dynamic live setting. Mastery of sports regulations, team roles, scoring methods, and the ability to multitask during broadcasts are essential.
Key Duties
- Investigate and comprehend each team's storylines and statistics.
- Verify starting lineups, game officials, and other pregame data for the production team.
- Be ready to describe earlier plays with details on players, positions, uniform numbers, and outcomes.
- Recognize and present trends and statistics to narrate the game story.
- Seamlessly communicate statistics and trends to announcers without disrupting game flow and respond to their questions.
- Concisely deliver statistics and trends to Graphics Producers via headset.
- Assist Graphics Producers by providing prompt answers and key previous play information.
- Collaborate with teams' SID/PR personnel for information and priority inquiries.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits
This remote position offers an hourly wage ranging from $35 to $65, varying by candidate's location, experience, and skills. Eligible employees may receive selected benefits such as medical and financial coverage, contingent on role and level.
