Job description
Role Overview
A Manhattan-based law firm is looking for a Recruiting Specialist to support its hiring efforts. This position is best suited for someone with deep experience recruiting within a law firm setting and who is comfortable handling a range of roles. The role follows a hybrid arrangement with four days per week in the office.
The base salary for this opportunity is between 100,000 and 140,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee job postings, candidate review, and interview coordination.
- Support the creation of clear, well-structured job descriptions.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter and similar sourcing tools to find candidates.
- Keep applicants informed with prompt updates and consistent communication.
- Work closely with HR and hiring managers to achieve recruitment targets.
- Track hiring data and metrics to help refine recruiting outcomes.
- Update and maintain accurate information in applicant tracking systems.
- Help build and improve a centralized internal recruiting data resource.
- Share observations and recommendations to strengthen recruiting strategy.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least five years of recruiting experience is needed, ideally in legal or professional services environments.
- Prior law firm recruiting experience is required for consideration.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end recruitment workflows is expected.
- Familiarity with more than one applicant tracking system is important.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-touch environment.
- Genuine interest in recruiting and relationship-building is important.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role with four in-office days each week.
Compensation
Base pay is listed at 100,000 to 140,000 per year, with the final offer based on experience.
