Position Overview
This role is for a proactive, highly organized Human Resources Generalist with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition. You will join a growing financial services company and support both hiring activities and a wide range of HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The position is fully remote and requires excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and prior experience in a professional services or financial services setting.
The preferred background is 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting, agency coordination, and general HR administration.
Talent Acquisition
- Run end-to-end recruiting for corporate and professional roles across accounting, finance, operations, technology, compliance, and administrative departments.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define staffing needs, shape recruiting plans, and build strong candidate pipelines.
- Oversee relationships with external recruiting agencies, including reviewing candidate quality, negotiating fee terms, and monitoring vendor results.
- Find, screen, interview, and assess candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and recruiting partners.
- Handle interview coordination, candidate communication, and feedback collection from hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offers, support negotiations, and manage onboarding steps for new employees.
- Monitor recruiting data and share updates on hiring progress, pipeline health, and time-to-fill targets.
- Look for ways to strengthen recruiting workflows, improve the applicant experience, and support employer branding efforts.
- Keep applicant tracking systems current and ensure recruiting records and compliance requirements are properly maintained.
Human Resources Generalist Duties
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities for employees.
- Provide support on employee relations topics by explaining HR policies, procedures, and practical best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee files and help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Coordinate performance management processes, learning initiatives, and training programs.
- Assist with administration of compensation and benefits-related activities.
- Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance projects.
- Help drive engagement initiatives and culture-building programs in a remote work environment.
- Contribute to HR process improvements and other special projects as needed.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers with HR questions or concerns.
Experience Required
Applicants should bring 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a financial services or professional services environment, along with direct exposure to full-cycle recruiting and agency management.
