About the Role
We are hiring a proactive and seasoned Recruiting Officer to join the HR team of a leading UAE group active in road construction, steel and aluminum production, painting and coating, road maintenance, and asphalt works. This position focuses on blue-collar recruitment, particularly for overseas applicants, and requires someone who can manage large-scale hiring while helping the organization bring in the right talent across different specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle for blue-collar roles across multiple job categories.
- Process and manage a large number of applications received from candidates outside the UAE.
- Create and execute recruitment approaches that help attract suitable applicants.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates to confirm both job fit and cultural alignment.
- Liaise with different departments to understand hiring requirements and workforce plans.
- Keep an active talent pool ready for immediate and future hiring needs.
- Follow UAE labor regulations and internal policies throughout hiring activities.
- Develop working relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and similar hiring channels.
- Share timely recruitment progress reports and updates with the HR Manager.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 10 years of recruitment experience, ideally in construction or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment at high volume.
- Good understanding of blue-collar hiring and multiple industry-specific roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid people skills.
- Comfortable using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Well-developed planning, coordination, and time-management abilities.
- Capable of performing effectively in a busy, fast-moving work setting.
- Working knowledge of UAE labor law is essential.
