Job description
Role overview
Comfort Keepers Ireland is hiring a Recruitment Coordinator to help drive hiring activity for its homecare teams in Ballina, County Mayo. This role sits at the centre of the recruitment function and supports the organisation’s goal of strengthening its workforce while maintaining high service standards across Ireland.
You will work closely with the recruitment team to manage the end-to-end hiring journey, keep processes aligned with internal procedures and HSE requirements, and contribute to ongoing improvements in how candidates are sourced, assessed, onboarded, and retained.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, since travel may be part of the role.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for new candidates at the start of the recruitment journey.
- Manage recruitment activity for assigned offices, with an emphasis on timely, high-quality appointments.
- Track recruitment performance measures, report on KPIs, and support efficiency improvements.
- Refine hiring workflows to reduce time-to-hire while staying compliant with HSE tender conditions and company policies.
- Support application screening, interviews, and onboarding administration.
- Ensure compliance across training, Garda vetting, reference verification, and contract requirements.
- Help deliver new starter inductions and keep training records accurate and up to date.
Experience and skills
The position is best suited to someone with background in high-volume recruitment, ideally within the home care sector. Strong organisational ability, a careful approach to detail, and a track record of working to deadlines and performance targets are important.
Confident use of Microsoft Office tools, HR administration systems, ATS platforms, and solid knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation are also needed.
Working hours and package
This is a 37.5-hour per week role, worked Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays.
The salary is competitive and will reflect the successful candidate’s experience. The benefits package includes discounted healthcare, a birthday day off, increased annual leave based on length of service, an Employee Assistance Programme, and access to ongoing training and development.
Additional information
This role is focused on supporting a high-performing homecare recruitment operation and on helping the organisation deliver consistently strong care services through effective hiring and onboarding practices.
