Role overview
Comfort Keepers Ireland is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support its homecare hiring efforts in Ennis, County Clare. This role is central to strengthening the workforce, improving recruitment processes, and helping the organisation deliver high-quality homecare services across Ireland.
The position requires a full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle, as travel may be needed.
What you will do
- Act as the initial contact for incoming candidates.
- Manage the carer recruitment process for assigned offices, with a focus on timely, high-standard hiring.
- Track recruitment KPIs and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Refine recruitment processes to reduce hiring time while staying aligned with HSE tender obligations and internal procedures.
- Help assess applications, carry out interviews, and coordinate onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with training, Garda vetting, reference verification, and contract requirements.
- Support induction for new starters and keep training documentation up to date.
Experience and requirements
Candidates should have prior experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally within the home care sector. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, along with HR administration software, is expected.
The role also calls for the ability to meet deadlines and KPIs consistently, while maintaining a strong eye for detail. A solid understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and applicant tracking systems is required.
Working pattern and benefits
This is a full-time role offering 37.5 hours per week. The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays.
