Role Overview
This full-time, permanent position in Central Auckland involves working within a dynamic recruitment and HR team. The Recruitment Coordinator will handle recruitment for a broad range of roles such as support workers, managers, and clinical and administrative staff. The role promises variety, pace, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to enhancing the lives of disabled New Zealanders and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across various vacancies
- Create and place job advertisements
- Screen applications, coordinate and support interviews, and conduct reference checks
- Maintain vacancy and applicant databases, and manage related recruitment administration tasks
- Gather, analyze, and report on recruitment and HR activities
- Participate in recruitment and HR projects aiming at continuous improvement
- Organize and engage in promotional events such as job fairs
- Provide ongoing support and onsite training to hiring managers within your client group
Candidate Profile
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing a career in recruitment
- At least two years’ experience in recruitment, HR, customer service, call center, sales, or administrative roles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills thriving in fast-paced settings
- Comfortable and confident with social media and networking for candidate engagement
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a talent for building trusted relationships
- Proficient in ICT tools including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and recruitment software
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree
- Background in the disability, health, or non-profit/community sectors
- Experience with Snaphire and/or ICHRIS HRIS systems
