Overview
The Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's Employment and Recruitment Department is seeking a compassionate and energetic Recruiter I to join their dynamic human resources team. This role supports the hiring of entry-level positions vital to the hospital’s operations, working closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to meet staffing objectives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to understand staffing needs aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain applicant sources through outreach to colleges, agencies, and media channels, sharing information about job opportunities and benefits.
- Analyze job descriptions and qualifications to identify ideal candidates.
- Advertise job openings across various platforms to attract qualified applicants.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and orientation tours for candidates.
- Use and manage employment systems such as HCM, ATS, STIX, SkillSurvey, background checks, and onboarding tools effectively.
- Track and verify requisitions, department numbers, and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
- Process onboarding paperwork and ensure adherence to E-Verify regulations.
- Maintain accurate I-9 documentation along with quarterly audits for compliance and accuracy.
- Generate detailed recruitment reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements within recruitment workflows.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with employee relations by providing recruitment-related documentation for hearings when requested.
- Support employment projects such as badge rollouts and online systems enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in human resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and other recruitment tools.
- Preferred certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
