Job description
About the Company
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is focused on creating better care and better patient outcomes through advanced medical technology. The company designs, manufactures, and markets solutions used in acute and chronic respiratory care, surgery, and obstructive sleep apnea treatment. Its work is guided by a patient-first philosophy called Care by Design.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support continued growth across Europe. This position covers end-to-end hiring activities across 16 European countries within a highly regulated medical devices setting. You will be an important member of the European HR team, working closely with HR managers and hiring managers across different functions while also supporting operational improvements and wider process enhancements.
The role may be based in Villebon sur Yvette in France, Maidenhead in the UK, or Schorndorf in Germany. Strong fluency in both English and German is required so you can confidently review and shortlist candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment from start to finish across 16 European countries.
- Find and attract candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, professional networks, agencies, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Support employer branding activities.
- Evaluate and shortlist applicants with attention to technical capability, awareness of compliance requirements, and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate interviews for each vacancy with the relevant HR manager and hiring manager.
- Manage the European Employee Referral Program and help strengthen engagement and candidate quality.
- Track and share recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, hiring volumes, pipeline strength, and source performance.
- Make sure hiring activities follow GDPR, internal rules, and quality standards for regulated industries.
- Spot and drive improvement projects that help attract stronger candidates and improve recruitment outcomes.
Candidate Profile
You should bring prior recruitment experience, ideally from medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated sector. A solid understanding of European hiring practices and stakeholder coordination is important, along with the ability to manage several roles across multiple countries and teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an international setting, stays highly organised, and has strong administrative capability. A data-led approach and interest in preparing KPI reports will be valuable. You should also be flexible, proactive, and collaborative. Fluency in English and German is essential for shortlisting candidates, and knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage.
