Job Summary

Join our team at Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail as a Recreation Attendant and bring joy to our guests by organizing and leading a variety of leisure activities. You will ensure that guests of all ages enjoy memorable and engaging recreational opportunities, spanning fitness classes, poolside games, sports, and children's programs. Your role is pivotal in fostering an inviting atmosphere filled with warmth and exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage fitness sessions, sports activities, and children's programs, actively involving guests to enhance their experience.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in all recreational areas, promptly addressing any equipment or facility concerns.
• Deliver courteous and professional customer service, responding efficiently to guest questions and highlighting available recreational options.
• Collaborate effectively with various hotel departments to facilitate successful events and recreational programs, including setup and breakdown efforts.
• Contribute innovative ideas for improving recreational offerings and support wellness initiatives.
• Handle guest issues with professionalism, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and hotel operational standards.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive approach.
• Prior experience in recreation, hospitality, or customer service is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to lead and engage in fitness and recreational activities confidently.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
