Overview
Gratitude India, an ISO 9001:2008 certified recruitment and talent solutions firm established in 2004, seeks a seasoned Record to Report (R2R) Subject Matter Expert based in Kolkata. This role centers on Finance and Accounting expertise, specifically in general ledger maintenance, month-end closing activities, journal entries, fixed assets management, lease accounting, and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage R2R processes ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end close activities including journal entry preparations.
- Handle fixed assets and lease accounting tasks effectively.
- Perform financial reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiencies.
- Leverage SAP and JD Edwards (JDE) platforms for financial operations.
- Apply advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to prepare comprehensive reports.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience of 5 to 8 years in Finance & Accounting, specifically within R2R functions.
- Minimum 3 years serving as a Subject Matter Expert in R2R processes.
- Certified or trained in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficient in SAP ERP and JD Edwards (JDE) systems.
- Strong command over advanced Excel and PowerPoint tools.
- Excellent accounting knowledge coupled with analytical capabilities.
