About the role
As a Rates Officer, you will help deliver accurate and timely rating services to the community. What you will do

- Prepare Land Information Certificates and process Municipal Rates Concession applications.
- Respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries with clear and accurate information.

- Work within established policies and procedures to support efficient rating operations.
What you will bring

- Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage and process data accurately.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for dealing with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- A careful approach to detail, with sound judgement and adherence to procedure.
- Exposure to systems such as TechnologyOne, SharePoint, OpenOffice CRM, or OpenOffice Property.Gov is desirable.
Work environment and benefits
This opportunity offers a blend of home-based work and Officer-based work in an activity-based setting. The council promotes collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and employee wellbeing, alongside professional learning and leadership development opportunities.
Two roles are available: one full-time position and one part-time position working 15.2 hours per week across Mondays and Tuesdays.
