  • Raise issues or concerns to senior technicians and managers when needed.
  • Work with basic PC hardware and related components such as HDDs, SSDs, flash media, removable storage devices, USB, FireWire, and eSATA devices.

Day-to-Day Work

The role involves decommissioning data center infrastructure such as racks, servers, and networking equipment according to established SOPs in a ticket-driven workflow. You will also support hardware tasks including rack installation, migration, and structured problem resolution. Maintaining site order and cleanliness is part of the job, along with following all health, safety, and security requirements. The position also includes internal documentation and project-related work.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Working knowledge of IT hardware systems and networking concepts.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and interact effectively with customers during issue resolution.
  • Experience handling server hardware and components is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow strict SOPs without variation.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality while protecting customer data.
