Quality Manager / Regional Director - Nursing Home Group

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager / Regional Director to manage nursing homes across multiple counties in Ireland including Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, and Louth. This leadership position involves extensive travel across Ireland and reports directly to the CEO. The role is critical in ensuring exceptional resident care, adherence to regulatory standards, and overall operational excellence within the nursing home portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and governance for nursing homes in your region.
• Guarantee compliance with all regulatory, clinical governance, and quality benchmarks, including risk management practices.
• Design, execute, and review operational policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks.
• Champion continual enhancements in care quality, resident satisfaction, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with Directors of Nursing to plan and implement quality improvement strategies and measures.
• Support achievement of the group’s strategic goals and operational plans.
• Track and fulfill financial and operational key performance indicators across the region.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and coaching to Directors of Nursing and management teams.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment efforts, retention strategies, and professional development programs.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders promoting a culture of accountability, excellence, and ongoing advancement.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland registration.
• Minimum ten years of post-registration experience, including at least three years in the elder care sector within the last six years.
• Five or more years of senior leadership experience at the Director of Nursing level or higher in the nursing home industry.
• Post-registration qualification in Healthcare Management, Leadership, or related fields.
• In-depth understanding of the Health Act 2007, HIQA regulations, and clinical governance standards.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple services, managing organizational change, and delivering strategic objectives.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing budgets and operational results.
• Holder of a full clean driving license and committed to nationwide travel.
