Job description
Job Overview
The QA Specialist is responsible for implementing company-wide and regulatory quality standards. The role involves auditing quality data and following established processes to initiate proactive corrective actions. Key duties include inspections, document management, and continuously enhancing operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with various departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Coordinate tracking and processing of internal or external RMAs for specific customers until resolved.
- Engage with suppliers to address nonconformance issues effectively.
- Conduct receiving, in-line, outgoing, and first article inspections for assigned customer orders.
- Ensure adherence to the quality system requirements and prepare quality reports for customers.
- Organize meetings with stakeholders and lead initiatives to resolve quality concerns.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to quality system metrics.
- Update, create, and manage documents ensuring high accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, shipping & receiving, and procurement teams to address process deviations.
- Review and process deviations, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Support the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program.
- Assist in ISO qualification activities such as audits, training, and documentation control.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of quality standards with cross-functional teams, focusing on training records and recurring issues.
- Participate in developing SOPs, completing change control reviews, performing internal audits, risk assessments, and training sessions.
- Adhere strictly to company policies protecting information assets and security protocols.
- Promote high-quality standards across teams and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
- Certification in quality assurance is advantageous.
- At least three years of experience in quality assurance or a related environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Excellent competency in data gathering and analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and Certification of Conformance procedures.
Work Environment and Conditions
This role operates in an office setting with potential for minor travel. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not provided.

Compensation
