Retail Products Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Products Specialist to join Elders on a permanent full-time basis in Perth, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and controlled execution of key transactional processes within the Retail business. These include B2B procurement, intercompany transactions, freight invoicing, and operations involving D365 systems. Your role will involve collaborating with branch networks as well as regional and national management teams to deliver excellent internal customer service and drive ongoing improvements across all Retail Products areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complete business system workflows related to B2B procurement, intercompany dealings, freight, and D365 modules.
• Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), key controls, and user manuals.
• Detect inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and system issues, fostering resolution, innovation, and continuous enhancement.
• Conduct in-depth transaction analyses to identify root causes and implement preventative corrective actions.
• Support transactional processing and invoicing for internal divisions such as Elders Plant Genetics (EPG).
• Lead supplier onboarding and integration into EDI frameworks, broadening capabilities and message formats.
• Manage EDI transaction workflows including orders, invoices, and acknowledgments to assure precision and promptness.
• Provide expert assistance in addressing discrepancies related to pricing, freight, and delivery timings.
• Track transaction patterns to highlight systemic challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven aptitude for analyzing issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience within agriculture or related sectors.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial data accurately.
• Prior work exposure in sales environments and/or agricultural industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with D365 retail systems and administration is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered driver’s license and have Q-Fever vaccination or proof of immunity.
