Job description

Role Overview

Visteon Corporation is seeking a Pursuit Lead to support customer quote pursuits across multiple regions and customer groups. This role centers on coordinating RFQs and RFIs, driving cross-functional inputs, and assembling technically sound quotation packages for automotive electronic products and platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Handle several RFQs and RFIs at the same time while keeping deliverables on track.
  • Support customers across different geographies and time zones for multiple business groups.
  • Work against tight turnaround times, as quotations must be completed quickly.
  • Identify supplier-dependent inputs early and start those activities without delay.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to select suitable parts.
  • Serve as the initial technical contact for customer and supplier discussions related to the DI product range, including hardware and software platforms.
  • Understand DI products such as clusters, two-wheeler clusters, cockpit domains, displays, and BMS.
  • Work with DI hardware platforms based on Infineon micros, including Aurix, Traveo II, NXP microcontrollers, and TI microcontrollers.
  • Be familiar with DI software architecture across Autosar, Linux, and QNX environments.
  • Interpret hardware, display, and software details at a high level and connect them to implementation needs.
  • Map feature requests to the relevant software architecture.
  • Perform impact analysis and estimate effort for common features with little or no support from the technical team.
  • Coordinate with multiple technical teams for new features and effort estimation.
  • Spot opportunities to reuse existing designs.
  • Prepare and complete quote documentation on time, including customer TDRs, BOMs, BOLs, software development assumptions, and engineering effort/cost inputs.
  • Ensure assumptions, exceptions, and compliance-sheet updates are fully captured.
  • Understand functional safety and cybersecurity at a high level, including shared modules with the platform, new software modules, and cybersecurity impacts on software development.
  • Identify risks tied to hardware platform decisions that may affect system performance.

Experience and Background

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering; a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should bring at least 4 years of experience in the automotive software domain, along with knowledge of relevant products such as clusters, IVI, CDC, BMS, or displays. Experience in embedded software development and Agile/ASPICE processes is also expected.
