About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned UAE National Public Relations Officer (PRO) to oversee government-related operations and regulatory affairs for our company. This position entails managing customs clearance, visa processing and cancellations, licensing, lease administration, and vehicle registrations, all while ensuring adherence to UAE laws and facilitating smooth business operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage customs formalities for inbound and outbound cargo, collaborating with Sharjah Customs and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority.
- Prepare, organize, and submit essential documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and permits for customs clearance and address any issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary liaison with various governmental bodies including Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, Immigration, MOHRE, and Sharjah government departments, handling all related approvals and document submissions.
- Administer employment visa procedures, renewals, cancellations, and maintain employee visa records to assure compliance with immigration and labor laws.
- Oversee trade license processes, manage lease agreements within Hamriyah Free Zone and WASL, maintain fruitful relations with Petroleum Council, and ensure company documents remain current and compliant.
- Coordinate truck and vehicle registration, renewals, transfers with Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority and RTA, organize inspections through authorized centers, and handle traffic management tasks such as renewals, fines settlement, and compliance checks with Sharjah Police, Dubai Police, and federal road authorities.
- Constantly monitor and resolve traffic violations, including black points and penalties, ensuring all company vehicles conform to UAE traffic regulations.
Qualifications
- Possess 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a PRO in the UAE.
- Well-versed in UAE immigration and labor legislations.
- Experienced in customs clearance processes.
