Role Overview
This position supports housekeeping operations in the event centre by keeping public-facing and staff spaces clean, orderly, and welcoming. The role is focused on maintaining a positive impression for guests and coworkers while responding professionally to routine issues and special cleaning requests. All duties must be completed in line with safety practices, internal procedures, and quality standards.

Key Duties
- Carry out assigned housekeeping tasks across the event centre.
- Clean and maintain public areas, washrooms, employee spaces, administrative offices, and other assigned locations.
- Support a professional and courteous guest experience at all times.
- Respond to questions, issues, and special requests as they come up.
- Follow established safety rules, policies, and cleaning procedures to meet quality expectations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent work-related background is required.
- At least 2 years of cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience with carpet cleaning and window cleaning is considered an advantage.
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort with repeated lifting and repetitive physical movements.
- Capacity to perform well in a busy, fast-moving, high-demand environment.
- Ability to work effectively both with a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of accountability.
- Availability for rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- WHMIS knowledge and biohazard cleanup experience are assets.
