About the Role
Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is set within the calm surrounds of Noosa National Park and features premium stays ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments and villas. Above the resort, Park & Cove provides dining for up to 80 guests and is built around a concept that highlights the people, produce, heritage, and culture of the Sunshine Coast. Role Purpose
In this housekeeping position, you will be responsible for maintaining shared spaces to a consistently high standard. The role calls for someone comfortable working on their own as well as as part of a team, while also interacting with guests and assisting with questions or requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the property looking polished and well maintained at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
- Clean and refresh public spaces such as the pool area, gym, and shared bathrooms to meet strict presentation and hygiene standards.
- Use specialist cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Support guests with general queries and security-related needs, while coordinating with other departments to get work done efficiently.
- Act as a key observer for maintenance and guest services by promptly reporting issues such as faults, damage, and missing items.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Prior work in a similar cleaning, room attendant, or public area attendant role is considered an advantage.
- A friendly and reassuring communication style that helps guests and colleagues feel comfortable.
- Strong attention to detail, good time management, and pride in delivering quality work efficiently.
- Physical capability and flexibility to work across indoor and outdoor spaces, including stairs and uncovered areas.
- Comfort working with people from a range of backgrounds and collaborating across teams.
- Reliable transport and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
