Job description

About the role

This position sits within the Vaccines organization in Saudi Arabia and focuses on strengthening vaccine confidence, improving awareness of disease prevention, and supporting fair access to immunization across the country. The role works at the intersection of public affairs, community engagement, and public health partnerships, helping shape the company’s standing as a trusted partner for immunization stakeholders and patient communities.

The work style is hybrid, with moderate travel expected. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What you will do

  • Partner with patient groups and civil-society organizations involved in vaccine-preventable diseases, and lead awareness initiatives around HPV, influenza, RSV, and other priority areas informed by patient and caregiver feedback.
  • Contribute to national immunization efforts through evidence-led advocacy and structured dialogue with stakeholders, while tracking policy developments such as NITAG guidance, vaccination funding, and barriers to access.
  • Create approaches for community listening and insight gathering so that patient and community perspectives help shape Vaccines brand planning and reputation work.
  • Build multi-stakeholder collaborations focused on vaccine confidence, health literacy, and digital immunization engagement with health authorities, NGOs, vaccine alliances, and public-health organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with scientific societies in pediatrics, infectious diseases, and public health to support vaccination priorities and prevention awareness.
  • Coordinate closely with Medical, External Affairs, Market Access, and Communications teams to keep messages aligned and to manage risk across vaccine-related initiatives.
  • Recommend environment-shaping actions based on policy analysis and stakeholder feedback to reinforce the company’s reputation as a credible public-health partner.
  • Lead public-awareness efforts that strengthen confidence in vaccines and promote equitable immunization access across varied communities in Saudi Arabia.

The role requires a solid grasp of the local immunization ecosystem and policy environment, including national vaccination strategies and the relevant stakeholder network. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required to engage effectively across different audiences.

A bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Public Policy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred. A strong personal commitment to public health and improving patient outcomes through community work is also important.
