About the Role

A respected commercial law firm based in the South East is seeking a junior Property Litigation Solicitor with up to two years post-qualification experience. This position offers the opportunity to join a highly regarded real estate disputes team known for its quality work and strong client relationships. The team handles a wide variety of property dispute matters including commercial landlord and tenant issues, lease renewals, rent reviews, forfeiture claims, possession claims, development disputes, rights of way, boundary disputes, insolvency-related property cases, and litigation across several courts and specialist tribunals. There is also frequent engagement with mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving commercial landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, and dilapidations.
  • Handle forfeiture and possession claims, development disputes, and issues relating to rights of way and restrictive covenants.
  • Work on boundary and ownership disputes as well as insolvency-related property matters.
  • Conduct litigation in County Court, High Court, and specialist property tribunals.
  • Participate regularly in mediation and other dispute resolution forums.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced specialists in a supportive and resource-rich environment.
  • Develop client relationships and engage with colleagues across practices to build a well-rounded career.

Candidate Profile

  • Newly qualified solicitor or with up to two years post-qualification experience in property litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials from recognised commercial practice backgrounds.
  • Exposure to commercial landlord and tenant work is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork and client service.
