Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Officer to facilitate and oversee the effective execution of key institutional projects at the University of Namibia's Main Campus. This role involves strategic planning, implementation, research, and analysis to ensure project success through collaboration and adherence to governance and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of strategic institutional projects.
- Conduct research and perform project-related analysis to inform decision-making.
- Develop and assist in completing project deliverables aligned with institutional goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration and compliance with governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Financial Management, Development Finance, or closely related disciplines. Additional advantage if holding a Post Graduate Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience in project coordination or management, especially within major research or institutional projects.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
