Overview
This leadership role offers an exceptional chance to join a rapidly expanding global clinical research organization. The Vice President (VP), Global Project Delivery, is a newly established position tasked with leading the transformation of the project delivery function across multiple international locations. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the successful candidate will spearhead strategic initiatives, develop a scalable global operating model, and direct high-performing multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational excellence, outstanding client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a unified global project delivery strategy in alignment with the organization's goals.
- Create and maintain a scalable, consistent operating model that supports growth, governance, and delivery standards worldwide.
- Oversee project portfolios, including prioritization, capacity planning, and monitoring operational performance from an executive perspective.
- Lead and nurture global teams involved in Project Management, Project Coordination, Study Design, and Data Management.
- Drive continuous improvements focused on quality enhancement, superior customer experience, operational efficiency, and favorable commercial results.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to facilitate organizational transformation and strategic expansion.
- Cultivate an international culture of cooperation, accountability, innovation, and ongoing development.
Candidate Profile and Required Experience
Applicants should be highly accomplished executive leaders with demonstrated success in building and guiding global delivery organizations within complex and heavily regulated industries. Essential qualifications include:
- Executive-level leadership experience at Director, Vice President, or equivalent roles.
- Extensive background leading global project delivery teams in large multinational entities.
- Proven capabilities across project management, coordination, study design, and data management disciplines.
- Experience managing extensive international and matrixed teams.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively at the executive level.
- Strong commercial insight enabling alignment of operational activities with business strategies and client needs.
Desirable attributes include:
- Experience in clinical research, clinical trials, healthcare, life sciences, or technology-enabled services sectors.
- Proven ability to lead organizational change and establish scalable global operating frameworks.

This position will be based preferably in Melbourne, with Sydney or Brisbane also considered.
