Job description
Position Overview
Located in New York City, this role is critical in executing Christian Louboutin's retail store development throughout the Americas. As Project Manager, you will oversee projects involving standalone boutiques, shop-in-shops, temporary stores, and pop-up locations. Reporting directly to the VP of Store Development, you will ensure projects maintain brand standards with precision, creativity, and operational excellence. Responsibilities span from initial feasibility through construction, completion, and grand openings. Collaboration is key, working with teams across Architecture, Construction, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Finance, Logistics, Retail Maintenance, and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities, engaging architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors to meet deadlines, budgets, and brand expectations.
- Oversee design evaluations across various project types, serving as a primary contact between regional and global teams to align quality and brand consistency.
- Analyze construction cost projections, bids, and renovation budgets to support financial oversight.
- Provide clear and consistent updates on design, budget, and schedules to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate efficiently with engineers, expeditors, inspectors, legal partners, contractors, and other project contributors.
- Supervise fabrication of displays, verifying adherence to Christian Louboutin's brand standards.
- Ensure timely ordering of brand-related items through authorized vendors and coordinate deliveries with the Logistics department.
- Manage punch list procedures in partnership with brand teams, boutique staff, architects, and project collaborators.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and archives to ensure transparency and team continuity.
- Work alongside Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Maintenance to confirm comprehensive and well-coordinated store handovers.
- Conduct regular site visits to stores and fabrication workshops to monitor quality, progress, and vendor cooperation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a relevant field.
- At least five years' experience managing store design projects or similar roles.
- In-depth understanding of store planning and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; skills in rendering design preferred.
- Capable of managing multiple high-pressure tasks within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both interpersonal and written, paired with outstanding customer service orientation.
- Strong passion for the Christian Louboutin brand, embodying its values and responsibilities.
- Experience in mid-sized multinational or luxury industry businesses favored.
- Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.

Compensation Details
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000, excluding bonuses, commissions, overtime, benefits, or other compensations, which will be disclosed during the interview or offer stages.
