Overview
This role as a Project Manager within the PMO Office is a contract position based in Dublin, requiring a hybrid working model with three days onsite each week. The successful candidate will deliver vital support across governance, reporting, financial oversight, workforce planning, stakeholder communications, and administrative coordination for a large-scale programme environment.
Responsibilities
- Compile and distribute weekly status updates and management presentations tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Maintain governance processes covering finances, change management, programme progress, project reporting, and workforce oversight.
- Develop and enhance reporting documentation utilizing Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneDrive, Copilot, and SharePoint.
- Regularly liaise with project teams to track progress, identify risks and issues, understand dependencies, and coordinate necessary follow-up actions.
- Customize communications and reports for diverse audiences including management, senior leaders, and delivery teams.
- Facilitate meetings, document accurate minutes, trace action items, and ensure their completion.
- Manage SharePoint sites including permissions and upkeep of email distribution lists.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience working within a Project Management Office supporting extensive programmes.
- Proficiency with financial management, project reporting, governance, and workforce planning tools, either industry-standard or proprietary.
- Background in a regulated, global environment, ideally within banking or financial services sectors.
- Experience supporting technology-focused teams or project portfolios.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with multi-disciplinary teams across locations and time zones.
- Capability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders and demanding business users.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in work outputs.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Outstanding organizational ability to prioritize daily responsibilities, project tasks, and ad hoc demands.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and SharePoint.
