Job description

About Donut Studios

New Engen is a digital marketing agency focused on helping brands grow more intelligently through coordinated media, creative, analytics, influencer, and retail strategies. Donut Studios is the company’s in-house creative team, built to produce high-performing, platform-specific digital content for ambitious brands. As part of New Engen’s specialized offerings, Donut Studios supports creative work that is designed to move quickly and deliver measurable results.

The team is made up of strategists, content creators, copywriters, editors, designers, account managers, and other specialists who work together to help clients succeed. The culture values collaboration, effort, humility, and purposeful execution.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will support one major client account by keeping projects organized from initial kickoff through final delivery. This person will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, creative teams, and clients to maintain momentum, keep timelines realistic, and ensure communication stays clear and consistent. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys creating structure, solving day-to-day challenges, and aligning multiple stakeholders around deadlines and priorities.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily project schedules, task progress, and creative workflows in Asana so work stays on track from brief intake through completion.
  • Manage project update routines and delivery forecasts, ensuring clients and internal teams always know current priorities, timelines, and next steps.
  • Coordinate creative assignments across the full project lifecycle so deliverables are properly defined, assigned, and moving forward as planned.
  • Keep project trackers accurate, watch for schedule risks early, and flag potential issues before they affect delivery.
  • Work across creative, strategy, and client teams to keep expectations, priorities, and deliverables aligned.
  • Help introduce AI-enabled workflows, automation, and other process improvements that increase efficiency.
  • Address everyday blockers, escalate larger concerns when necessary, and help maintain steady progress across multiple deadlines.
  • Partner with the Senior Project Manager to strengthen your project management capabilities and contribute to operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in project management or project coordination, ideally in a digital marketing agency, creative agency, or similarly fast-moving client services setting.
  • Proven ability to handle several projects and deadlines at once while staying highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and Airtable, or comparable collaboration and project management tools.
  • Comfort using AI-powered tools and openness to adopting new technology that improves delivery and team productivity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share polished updates with both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to spot problems early and keep work progressing.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing, high-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving client needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

Perks and Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Health savings account with employer contribution.
  • Flexible vacation and PTO policy.
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Remote and flexible day schedule.
  • Relaxed office atmosphere.
  • Team events and off-sites.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000. Final base pay will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, and the applicable market for the position.
