Overview
GovCIO is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the PMO team supporting the HUD contract. This fully remote role is based in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Understand financial and project management principles to develop budgets and project schedules aligning with requirements.
- Manage cost estimation, monitor expenses, and control financial aspects of projects.
- Track project progress and implement necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate efforts among departments to fulfill project objectives efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication channels throughout the project team.
- Participate in risk management activities as necessary.
- Provide ongoing support addressing project demands and personnel issues.
- Report on project status and updates to management regularly.
- Organize logistics for meetings, conferences, trainings, and other events related to the project.
- Schedule and prepare materials for project committee meetings including reports, presentations, and agendas.
- Document key decisions and action items from meetings accurately.
- Perform financial analyses such as forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collect, compile, and present relevant data to inform project status.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT projects and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Capability or certification in CAPM (PMI) is a plus.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a HUD Public Trust clearance.
Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $60,000 to $72,000 per year.
