About the Role
Joining a major financial services organisation undergoing a substantial business and technology transformation, this role involves supporting the execution of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business processes, governance frameworks, client outcomes, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Assist in executing key business transformation programs.
- Lead workshops and actively engage with business stakeholders to capture operational needs.
- Document, analyse, and consolidate business requirements comprehensively.
- Contribute to designing current and future state business processes.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, handling dependencies effectively.
- Track and manage risks, issues, actions, and milestones within the program.
- Support governance functions including reporting for Steering Committees and status updates.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, meeting materials, and delivery reports.
- Support business readiness and rollout efforts ensuring smooth implementation.
- Drive and close actions collaboratively across business and technology teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Program or Business Analyst.
- Background supporting large-scale business or technology transformation initiatives.
- Skilled communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience in leading workshops and detailed business requirement analysis.
- Well-versed in analysing business processes for optimization opportunities.
- Proficient in governance practices, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking and reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks.
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or combined delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Superannuation sectors.
- Experience with risk, governance, or regulatory transformations.
- Familiarity with software platforms such as XPLAN, Salesforce, or Midwinter.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Involvement in operational changes and business readiness activities is advantageous.
