Role overview

For the Potsdam site, Elis is looking for a production employee in the laundry department to start immediately. This is a permanent, full-time position based on a two-shift system.

Key responsibilities

• Sort incoming laundry and prepare containers according to the washing schedule, including bedding, towels, and other textiles.
• Operate washing machines correctly and select programs based on fabric type and level of soiling.
• Carry out washing and care processes in line with defined quality and hygiene requirements.
• Inspect cleaned laundry and arrange rewash or stain treatment when needed.
• Support the production area as required, including assisting the large wash line and unpacking and preparing new laundry.
• Follow occupational safety rules and handle machines and cleaning agents responsibly.

Candidate profile

• Interest in working with textiles; applicants switching careers as well as candidates with prior experience are welcome.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift model from Monday to Friday, covering early and late shifts.
• Good German language skills at least at B2 level for day-to-day communication.
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.
• Physically resilient, team-oriented, and comfortable working with different departments.
