Job Description

The Production Technician role is responsible for managing equipment operation and maintenance to support efficient manufacturing processes. Key duties include setting up and recovering production machinery during disruptions, initiating equipment configuration for new production runs, and assisting operators during machine stoppages. Additionally, the Technician provides training to newly onboarded operators to ensure proficient machine handling.

Maintaining adherence to established standards involves compiling and analyzing operational data to spot trends and suggest improvements to supervisors. They are accountable for implementing minor improvements according to Kaizen principles and proposing change requests aimed at process enhancements.

Regarding production materials, responsibilities encompass verifying the delivery of raw materials as coordinated with warehouse staff, handling loading activities of raw and semi-finished goods, and assessing quality parameters such as total product length, quantities of good and defective items. The Technician also prepares finished products for collection by third-party agents.
