Production Manager - Food Supplements Manufacturing

About the Role

Sanomax GmbH is searching for a skilled Production Manager to lead its food supplements manufacturing unit, based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This opportunity invites candidates from all across Europe, provided they can legally work and relocate to Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production cycle, managing everything from raw ingredients to final product completion.
• Enhance and refine food supplement formulations to ensure optimal product quality.
• Produce samples both at laboratory and pilot scales.
• Guide scale-up stages and manage commercial-scale manufacturing processes.
• Supervise ongoing production activities while ensuring adherence to GMP standards.
• Collaborate effectively with teams in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain departments.
• Implement initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency, minimizing waste, and preserving product integrity.
• Lead the training, management, and support of production personnel.
• Maintain strict workplace health and safety standards.
• Keep precise records and documentation of manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience within food supplement manufacturing.
• Demonstrable expertise in formulation development, product scale-up, and manufacturing processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GMP protocols and quality management systems.
• Experience operating and managing the relevant production equipment and workflows.
• Strong leadership capabilities, solid communication skills, and effective organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate successfully with international and multifunctional teams.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be prepared to work on-site in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
