Job description
Role Overview
This position supports airport retail operations at Changi Airport by handling stock movement, inventory control, replenishment, and dispatch tasks across stores and terminals. The role also involves ensuring items are prepared correctly for sales and delivery, while maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
Working Schedule
Work is arranged on rotating shifts between 0530 and 0230 for full-time and part-time staff, and between 2100 and 0800 for midnight shift staff.
- Full-time and midnight shift: 9.5 hours per shift, including 1 hour of unpaid break, totaling 42.5 hours per week.
- Part-time shift: 9.5 hours per shift including 1 hour of unpaid break, with a minimum commitment of 5 days per week and at least 2 months.
- Midnight part-time shift: minimum 7 hours per shift, minimum 4 days per week, with at least 2 months commitment.
Compensation
The monthly salary range is SGD 2,000 to SGD 2,400. Part-time pay is SGD 13 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept incoming stock, label products, pick and pack items, and move merchandise between stores and airport terminals.
- Carry out stock counts, verify inventory records, and complete the necessary paperwork accurately.
- Refill display shelves, uphold merchandising standards, and help fulfil online orders such as IShop Changi.
- Check products for damage or defects and process returns or replacements according to procedure.
- Deliver duty-free merchandise to departure gates before the flight cut-off time.
- Maintain a tidy, organized storeroom and workspace while observing safety requirements.
- Take on additional tasks assigned by supervisors or retail managers.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: N-Level or an equivalent credential.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and moving cartons and loads weighing between 10kg and 25kg.
- Well-organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Open to retail shift work and irregular hours.
- Willing to handle liquor and tobacco products.
- Must be at least 21 years old in line with the Tobacco Act.
