Role Purpose
The Product Specialist Immunology is responsible for executing brand strategies and tactics in the field, managing sales performance, overseeing assigned territories and targeted accounts, and building strong customer relationships focused on patient-centered solutions. All activities are to be conducted in line with AbbVie's code of conduct, company policies, and applicable legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, brand key performance indicators, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
- Develop pre-call plans with SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to enhance sales effectiveness, including skillful objection handling and driving logical call-to-action outcomes.
- Proactively address customer needs and challenges to foster trusted relationships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Plan and execute calls with optimized coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales potential.
- Continuously broaden knowledge of customer needs, market trends, competitors, disease areas, and product expertise; share market intelligence with team members to align strategy and anticipate market changes.
- Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers, and cultivate relationships with disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical studies.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience as a Product Specialist in a multinational company.
- Preferably experienced in specialty care therapy areas.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of healthcare professionals' and disease area requirements.
- Insightful understanding of market challenges and opportunities.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Curiosity with a willingness to learn and improve continuously.
