Product Owner - Retail Banking (Cards and Mortgage)

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner specializing in Retail Banking with a focus on Cards (Credit/Debit) and Mortgage/Loan products. The successful applicant will lead product strategy, develop business requirements, manage the product backlog, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery squads to implement customer-focused banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the product roadmap and backlog specifically for Cards and Mortgage offerings.
• Translate detailed business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business units, operations, compliance, and technology departments to drive digital banking projects.
• Lead initiatives for product improvements, process optimization, and enhanced customer experience.
• Ensure that all solutions comply with regulatory, risk management, and operational policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 8 years' experience within Banking or Financial Services sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of Retail Banking, including Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Mortgage, Home Loans, and Lending products.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager operating in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to gather and prioritize requirements effectively.
• Preferred experience with digital banking platforms focused on customer interaction.
