Product Owner - Digital Health Software

Core Responsibilities

• Convert stakeholder expectations into precise system requirements and actionable development tasks.
• Oversee creation and prioritization of Jira tickets including feature development, bug resolution, and addressing technical debt.
• Set clear sprint objectives and manage agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and estimations.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and assist development teams to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Manage end-to-end development and deployment of mobile and digital healthcare applications.
• Contribute to verification and validation activities by defining, executing, and documenting test cases.
• Coordinate software releases, including preparing documentation and managing app store submissions.
• Handle translation processes to ensure product viability across multiple markets.
• Collaborate closely with design and development teams to optimize the balance between technical feasibility and user experience.
• Develop and maintain required technical documentation complying with medical device software regulations.
• Support creation of development plans, test plans, traceability matrices, risk assessments, and technical reports.
• Ensure adherence to medical device software standards including IEC 62304 and associated quality management systems.
• Align sprint deliveries with overall product roadmaps in cooperation with programme management and leadership teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve technical issues to maintain project timelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in roles such as Technical Project Manager, Software Project Manager, Product Owner, or Product Manager within medical software development.
• Proven background working in agile project environments.
• In-depth understanding and experience with IEC 62304 medical device software standards.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and software lifecycle processes.
• Strong capability to simplify complex technical information for varied stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience using collaboration and design tools like Miro, Figma, or Asana.
