The position focuses on accurate stock planning, clear demand visibility, and effective replenishment across markets so the right products reach the right locations at the right time. This is an on-site role based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and reports to the Planning Market Manager, Supply Planning, North America.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales Market commercial teams on inventory and stock-related matters to support strong commercial execution.
  • Improve consistency and share best practices across Sales Markets for merchandising and commercial delivery.
  • Review and, where necessary, challenge bottom-up demand plans from a stock perspective.
  • Support Sales Markets in adjusting price maps based on local competition and stock position.
  • Forecast supply against demand and communicate insights along with corrective actions.
  • Determine articles for final sale or clearance, including special campaign items by channel.
  • Work with Inventory Optimization Leads and other inventory partners on markdown decisions and related stock actions.
  • Monitor and forecast R&D for Sales Markets.
  • Capture lessons from exit and liquidation activity to improve future pre-season planning and buying quantities.
  • Act as the main contact for assigned Sales Markets and warehouses on allocation, replenishment, and stock management.
  • Track stock at Sales Market level and review stock-balancing options using analyses from Inventory Leads.
  • Handle initial warehouse-to-store allocation in line with Sales Market plans.
  • Adjust replenishment speed and set replenishment blocks or stops for seasonal stock and predictable demand.
  • Maintain backstock lists for items that need to be removed from the shopfloor or pick locations.
  • Provide regular stock update reports to Sales Market commercial teams and Store Managers to improve visibility into incoming deliveries and stock status.

Who This Role Suits

This position is designed for a detail-focused merchandising or planning professional who is comfortable working across markets, warehouses, and commercial teams. It suits someone who can translate stock data into practical actions and collaborate effectively across functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in product merchandising, retail planning, or commercial operations in retail, fashion, or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and merchandising workflows.
  • Ability to read sell-through and stock reports and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills across market and continent-level stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in Excel and interest in business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy in article tracking and reporting.
