  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and UX teams to create user-friendly parental controls and privacy settings.
  • Maintain compliance with key regulations such as Singapore's PDPA and IMDA guidelines, COPPA, GDPR Article 8, and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code.
  • Conduct detailed privacy assessments including Data Protection Impact Assessments and Children's Privacy Impact Assessments for any new product developments.
  • Lead responses to incidents involving child data privacy risks, coordinating with Legal and Compliance divisions.
  • Handle interactions with regulatory bodies for audits, submissions, and uphold updated child privacy policies.
  • Promote a culture of trust and safety across multiple departments, including Product, Engineering, Trust & Safety, and Marketing.
  • Offer privacy advisory support reviewing new product launches for compliance with child privacy standards.
  • Present program initiatives to leadership and engage with external organizations supporting child advocacy.
  • Work alongside Customer Support teams to address concerns raised by parents and guardians.
  • Measure and analyze privacy-related metrics such as parental control adoption and age verification success rates.
  • Stay informed about global trends and innovations in child online safety and participate in relevant industry forums.
  • Conduct user research focused on age-appropriate experiences to continually enhance safety features.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum five years in product management, with at least two years specializing in trust & safety, privacy, compliance, or child protection products.
  • Thorough understanding of child privacy legislations including COPPA, GDPR Article 8, UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and Singapore's PDPA/IMDA guidance.
  • Experienced in executing privacy impact assessments and steering projects involving regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to convert complex legal criteria into actionable product functions.
  • Strong aptitude for collaboration with legal, compliance, engineering, and design teams.
  • A history of successfully delivering privacy-centric or trust and safety products within regulated sectors.
