Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and customer-centric Product Manager or Product Lead to steer the strategy, development, and lifecycle of our products. This role is highly cross-functional, responsible for setting the product vision, fostering innovation, and aligning efforts across business and technical teams to create high-quality products that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company goals, market dynamics, and client requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor evaluations, and customer discovery to spot opportunities for innovative product enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, and customer success teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize features.
- Manage product backlogs and oversee development phases from conception through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities to assure prompt delivery of impactful product initiatives.
- Establish product requirements, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to measure product performance, track key indicators, analyze feedback, and recommend improvements enhancing user experience, retention, and revenue.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop business cases, investment proposals, launch plans, and performance reporting.
- Manage stakeholders’ expectations, facilitate go-to-market activities, oversee cross-team communication, mitigate business risks, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive shifts to drive continuous product innovation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
- Certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, Project Management, Lean, or Design Thinking are preferred.
- Deep knowledge of product management frameworks, lifecycle, strategy, roadmap development, and delivery processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Product Development, and customer-focused design principles.
- Expertise in defining product vision, requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature prioritization, and release planning.
- Strong analytical aptitudes to interpret customer insights, product data, market trends, and business metrics to guide decisions.
- Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, pricing models, customer journey, user experience, and positioning strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept with product management, collaboration, analytics, and project management software tools.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for influencing teams and leadership.
- Project management, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent product initiatives effectively.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
- Leadership capabilities with decisive problem-solving aimed at quantifiable business results.
- A strong customer-first approach coupled with enthusiasm for innovation and continuous enhancement of user experiences.
