Job description
Role Mission
As a Product Manager based in Riyadh, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing the product strategy tailored to the Saudi Arabian market. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and various regional and local teams, your efforts will focus on boosting business growth, enhancing product success, and ensuring that vital launches and initiatives are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting the market-specific product strategy by analyzing business data, understanding customer insights, monitoring market trends, and reviewing product performance.
- Work alongside the Marketing Manager to establish product priorities, allocate budgets, and develop actionable plans aligned with business goals.
- Adapt regional product and marketing strategies to suit local market needs through coordination with regional teams.
- Develop budget proposals per collection and category, and suggest adjustments based on ongoing business outcomes.
- Ensure cross-team alignment for consistent execution of product initiatives.
- Track product performance metrics to spot growth opportunities and suggest improvements.
- Regularly update sales forecasts integrating market tendencies, client behavior, and performance data.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to guarantee product availability and that assortments meet local market demand.
- Deliver product-related insights and guidance to both regional and local teams.
- Support retail network product knowledge development and partner with Learning & Development on relevant product training programs.
- Work in tandem with Visual Merchandising to enhance product presentation and collection effectiveness within boutiques.
- Coordinate launches by defining sales forecasts and assortment plans with regional teams, tailoring these plans locally and overseeing their implementation.
- Monitor new product launch outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Partner with Communications to align on product focus and evaluate campaign impacts on performance.
- Ensure boutiques receive necessary tools, information, and instructions to facilitate effective product introductions.
- Keep abreast of competitor actions, marketplace trends, and customer behaviors; provide comprehensive local market feedback to regional teams.
- Assess and communicate market pricing strategies and share insights regionally.
- Identify new product opportunities and aid in the creation of recommendations and briefs.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects that support business advancement and uplift product performance.
- Engage in broad-based initiatives, collaborating with multiple teams to achieve shared objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Bringing 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, Product or Category Management, preferably within luxury, fashion, or high-end consumer goods sectors.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Possesses analytical expertise with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance indicators.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder relationship capabilities.
- A commercially driven individual with a strong results orientation.
- Exhibits creativity, independence, curiosity, and adaptability thriving in a dynamic international setting.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential; proficiency in French is beneficial.
