Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Define and lead an inspiring product vision and strategic plan, aligned with GovTech's broader mission.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept through launch and ongoing optimization to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities, applying insights to guide product development and positioning.
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap prioritizing features based on impact, user feedback, and market demands.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure smooth product development and communication flows.
• Establish, monitor, and analyze relevant KPIs or OKRs to assess product success and inform data-driven decisions.
• Represent the customer perspective internally, incorporating user needs and feedback into planning and execution.
• Encourage continuous innovation and stay informed about industry trends and new technologies to evolve products.
• Lead digital roadmap development and implement digital solutions by partnering with internal teams, government agencies, and industry to enhance business results.
• Mentor junior product managers, promoting knowledge sharing, strategic thinking, and a collaborative product culture.
• Track product performance metrics and user feedback to align improvements with business goals and customer expectations.
• Drive organizational capabilities in digital, design, and data innovation to build a high-performance team.
• Contribute to preparing annual Digital Government Blueprint KPIs for the Smart Nation Office and assist Ministry of Finance in Ministry Family Digitalisation Plan submissions.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a product manager with a successful track record, including mentoring junior team members.
• Strong leadership aptitude with effective team management skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
• Preferably experienced in payment solutions, though this is not mandatory.

Preferable Additional Skills

• Understanding of payment systems such as cards, NETS, PayNow, wallets, payment gateways, settlement and reconciliation processes.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with Visa, NETS, acquiring banks, or payment service providers.
